It has several colors like fawn, pied and black, brindle and cream. The natural weight of this pet is from twenty (20) to twenty eight (28) pounds and its height can be as much as eleven (11) to fourteen (14) inches.
Sprucing Up A French Bulldog
Sprucing up a French Bulldog is not very demanding. You just need to block time for its grooming needs. Its short coat needs regular grooming of at least twice a week. Its coat needs the brushing to make the coat look neat and great. The folds and wrinkles on its dog face has to be cleaned dry, the wrinkles in between has to be checked, if there are some food leftovers as it can be an onset of diseases. Its ears and eyes have to be checked regularly. This dog being a low shedder can be a suitable pet for allergic persons.
Health, Lifespan And History
The lifespan of this dog can be as much as ten (10) to twelve (12) years. It has lots of health issues to face with. This dog has a short muzzle, and can have respiratory problems at most times. It is also sensitive to cold and hot weather. There are some other health problems which you have to lookout for, like thyroid problems, allergies, cataracts, luxating patella, spinal problems, and excessive elongated soft palate. The French Bull dog parents carry with them CERF and OFA certificates with a screening of VWD for the puppy.
This dog is from France. The dog’s origin is not so easy to detect, as this breed is all over. This dog has become very popular in the 19th century especially among the raters. This breed was eventually listed in 1898 with AKC.
