Some coat has mixtures of three colors.

A distinctive feature of an English Fox hound is the ears found at the sides of the head. Female English Foxhound can weigh from sixty (60) to ninety five (95) and Male English Foxhound can be as long as twenty four (24) to twenty six (26) inches

Sprucing Up An English Foxhound

The dog is known to be a “low shedder,” great for people who have allergies but want to own a dog. Sprucing them up is not demanding as compared to other breeds. It needs regular brushing, and a wiping of damp cloth, to keep the coat sleek and really spic and span. The ears have to be dried clean to avoid infectious diseases and to keep it healthy.

The hometown of the English Foxhound is from Great Britain. This breed is trained hunting in packs and known to be the dogs as the favorite pet of the former first president of the United States, President George Washington. He has to import several of them for his home. English Foxhound was registered in the year 1909 with the AKC.
