Affenpinscher

Have you ever met a dog with lots of curiosity in his head? Affenpinshcer curiosity makes him a fun pet. This is a German Dog. You will find him funny and outrageous at times and playful at the same time. It is good to have him with a family with grown up children, instead of toddlers, as this dog is a very demanding dog. It has a funny monkey face.

Most have a black coat, but you can also have belge, gray, red, tan and silver. An affenpinshcer wears his coat shaggy in the forehead and ruffled in his body. As his coat shows, this dog has a temper and has a capacity of being sociable; and bossy at times. It is good to let him know who is the boss, it is stubborn and it can be very challenging for a trainer sometimes. Nevertheless once he gets a dog schooling he can be the best watch dog ever, and robbers are afraid of Affenpinshcer as the bites can be bloody.

The breed is a lovable pet in a German house, and its first stories were

recorded in the year 1879. It was Albrecht Durer; he was a German artist who depicted Affenpinshcer in his carvings.Most Affenpinshcer are fun to be with as they loved to jog around and are great companions during exercise. The dogs' temperament is a sanguine mixed with a lots of passion and temper. It has a peculiar fear of the heights, so in case you brought him with you in your pick-up, and tried to carry him, he can be very panicky and jumpy.

Sprucing Up An Affenpinscher

An affenpinshcer has a monkey like expression with a funny expression while walking around your house; it has a round head and with pronounced forehead and high domed.

The nose is black and round like a small ping pong ball coloured black. Its muzzles are straight but short and its nose bridge is straight. It has black lips kept in its tight fitted jaws. Its' teeth is white as an ivory, 42 in all. He usually has his incisors, canines and tongue invisible when his mouth is not opened. Sometimes there teeth lacking, but is considered acceptable.

Its pigmented black eyes are full, round and dark, when he closes his eyelids it fits closely and is set in an encircling harsh hair. An affenpinshcer has a strong and straight but strong short neck, and its skin on the throat are tightly fitted. The body is compact, square like and strong, and the tail wiggles naturally.

It has a back characterized as taut, short and strong. The loin is also strong and short, but the distance from the hip to the last pointer of its rib can make the dog compact. It has a slightly croup, and it blends with the tail very well. The chest can extend at the level of the elbows; it is also slightly, short rounded. You can see the moderately belly perfectly tucked upwards. The topline and underline are usually parallel. The dog is a dependable house dog which can give you an authentic satisfaction.

Health, Lifespand And Lineage

The life of Affenpinshcer is runs from 12 to 14 years. Affenpinshcer are usually afflicted with an arthritis to the hips called hips dysplasia,kidney problems, heart murmurs and leg perthes.

It was trained for ratting and was registered in 1936 at AKC.
