Doberman Pinscher
A Doberman Pinscher is alert, noble, and proud. The dog has plenty of love and devotion to give. These dogs are gifted with a manageable temperament. Its sentient intelligence has quick capacity to learn new skills and can be very creative as well.
This breed is obedient by nature when trained with praise, treats, and positive reinforcements. This breed wants to excel in obedience if it sees who the boss is during the first day of training, because sometimes they can be very stubborn as well.
A Doberman Pinscher wouldn't want to experience maltreatment as it can become rough. For this breed, it needs a continuous training of new tricks, exercise, and creative stimulation or else it can get really uncomfortable and restless, which may be difficult for the owner.
This breed loves to be with children especially when they grew up with them. These breed immediately becomes larger than the children, so it's good to choose bigger dogs for bigger children, and pups with younger ones. It is also good if the children are taught how they can boss a Doberman Pinscher.
Toddlers and children ages 1 to 6 years old are not advisable to have a Doberman Pinscher pup, as these pups can outgrew their masters. Doberman Pinscher are natural boss as well if they are with other pets. It also likes to run after animal prey like rabbits and cats.
If you want to train your Doberman Pinscher to like other household pets, it is better to raise it as a puppy with the other animals. Doberman Pinschers are dogs who are reserved by nature especially with strangers and are therefore very protective and powerful of loved ones, especially their masters. It can also get angrily provoked and will fight to its death. It is guards efficiently.
The Looks Of A Doberman Pinscher
The physique of a Doberman Pinscher is powerful, athletic and sturdy. It has great stamina, endurance, and agility! These dogs wear their sleek, hard, coat close fitted; it is short, and smooth. Its ears can be amusingly stand erect or cropped or it can be seen naturally, as it is. Doberman Pinschers wear the coat in various colors; it can be rust, black, brown, blue, or fawn. The rust color is markings on its legs and head. It can grow from 22 to 28 inches and it can be heavy in pounds from 65 to 85.
Doberman Pinscher's occasional grooming is not as demanding as the other breeds. It does require brushing in a regular basis. You may also have its coat shining and glossy, and it has to be conditioned to look really elegant. These breed are not usually heavy shedders but sometimes they can be as they change their coat regularly, so when its shedding time, it good to have the usual brushing and combing for hygiene and grooming purposes.
Health And Life Of Doberman Pinschers
Doberman Pinschers have a life expectancy of eight to twelve years. They also encounter some health disorders and problems which are common for Doberman Pinschers. Some experiences cancer, thyroid problems, VWD, spinal and liver problems. Before acquiring a Doberman Pinscher puppy, it is good to check OFA certificates.
Lineage
Germany is the country of origin by a Doberman Pinscher, and it took its name from Louis Doberman! He developed the Doberman Pinscher, breed and was registered with AKC in the year 1908.
