If you want a loyal family pet, Dalmatian is the best. It has creative wit and helpful skills in problem solving. A Dalmatian is also obedient and a helpful alert watchdog. It has lots of powerful energy, confident and active dog. A Dalmatian is outgoing, friendly and courageous. This dog really loves its owner, although sometimes it can be very stubborn, so dog owners must be trained in handling Dalmatians.
Despite the stubbornness, they are great companions as they are sociable and would want to have lots of activities. It is great to bring it with you while jogging around the neighborhood or walking in the village to give it some muscle stretching and exercises as well. When a Dalmatian gets some exercise, it prevents it from destroying your interiors inside the house.
Puppy Dalmatians must be trained to socialize at an early age to educate its temperament, because generally Dalmatians are aggressive. Most Dalmatians however are great companions of children, especially when they grow up together and are owned as a loved pet - it is great to be good friends at a young age. Habitual brushing of a Dalmatian's coat can be done weekly, so the unnecessary hair is shredded and its coat will look neat. It shreds its coat occasionally all year round, Dalmatians are not heavy shredders. People with allergies are discouraged from owning a Dalmatian.
Lifetime Of Dalmatians
Dalmatians have a life span from 11 to 14 years old. Like any dogs, it has its own health issues. Most common diseases are seizures, allergies, glaucoma during old age, gall stones, diabetes, and deafness! When acquiring a puppy, check if its Dalmatian parents have CERF and OFA Certificates.
Lineage Of Dalmatians
Dalmatians are part of an entourage of a coach, as they stand in attendance while the riders enter their coaches. It is quite attach to horses, as it instinctively works with them quite naturally. They are energetic, and their stamina is strong, as required originally as coach dogs. However, it is rarely done nowadays.
Yugoslavia is the country of origin of all Dalmatians. It has lots of responsibilities. The bred is known as a dependable watch dog. It is normally trained to help shepherds manage ships and kill lots of vermin. It has lots of tricks too. Dalmatians are officially registered with AKC in the year 1888.
